Christmas in golden tassels

All I want for Christmas is… Christmas tassels! That’s good, my Instagram feed has already told you a little about the little new thing that you can now shop on my site! So yes, Christmas is “only” in 36 days, the fact remains that we are already talking about it everywhere. More people have already bought their Christmas tree than you might think. Toys and chocolates have invaded supermarket shelves and the first Christmas windows have been unveiled by some department stores. So there is no doubt, Christmas is already on people's minds and so is the whole magical world that revolves around it!

The chance of the imagination

It is therefore high time for me to officially announce to you that you will be able to decorate your Christmas tree and/or your interior with my Christmas tassels. It all started from… “nothing” in fact! No meeting, special event or specific request. This idea came straight out of my inspiration, I was in the middle of a modeling session and suddenly, there was a little spark in my head. This spark quickly transformed into a sketch in my notebook, then into a more precise form and quickly, the first porcelain tassels saw the light of day. So it wasn't really premeditated. That’s the magic of Christmas too, isn’t it?

Christmas colors and gold

Quickly, I got caught up in the game and fell into the virtuous circle of Christmas tassels. Overwhelmed by my imagination, I started creating decorations in different shapes and colors, each more “Christmas” than the last! I even tinted some of my white porcelain supports using an old rose pigment and others with a cinnamon slip. I then decorated them with gold prints. Some were made using plant prints while others were set with curved lines, small dots, rounded leaves, etc. were meticulously done with a fine brush.

From one form to another

To return to the shapes, at the beginning I remained quite classic, round, elongated round, more Christmas-style shape, etc. However, faithful to my desire to share my daily life with you, I quickly highlighted the making of these little new items in my stories. And it was with pleasure that I received a rather special request from my favorite spread creator, namely @lafrenchi . She wanted tassels in the form of hazelnuts. Determined to respond to this order, I declined this personalized form. Seduced by the idea, I then took inspiration from it to imagine new tassels. You can choose tassels with rounded hazelnuts, acorns, etc.

Pretty ribbons

And if you ever wonder how to hang or suspend them (because yes, Christmas tassels are not just reserved for the tree, they can also be attached to a door handle for example!), no problem. panic, I thought about it. While browsing through my favorite designers, I came across a “Rose Nymphe” silk ribbon from Woola La!. When you receive them, you will only have one thing to do, place them in your little cocoon or hang them on a branch of your Christmas tree.

I won't tell you any more, to get an even better idea, go quickly to my e-shop, there is something for all tastes and all prices! Sold individually (12 euros) or in sets of 3 or 5 (from 31 to 49 euros), you are free to mix and match the ones you like best. I continue to create them on my own and, to be honest, if I had had a team of little Christmas elves specialized in ceramics, I would have entrusted them with the task of making a few more!

And above all, don't hesitate to comment if you like it, who knows, Easter will arrive quickly and little eggs could see the light of day?
